*Mimi hums slightly, walking up the stairs, holding an unlit…*Mark sighed and covered his face with his hands leaning back; thinking out loud* He’s finally out of the house. That’s…good. *chuckles* Angel is a miracle worker. Well. An angel.
*blinks* Uh…sure hang on. *goes to find the matchbook he’s sure is in the kitchen somewhere*
*steps inside, looking around; rubs her shoulders to try and get slightly warm while he goes to the kitchen; to herself* Nice place…
*walks back out of the kitchen triumphantly with the matchbook; startled* ..Oh. Uh, here it is. *lights a match carefully*
*holds out the candle, trying to look as weak and fragile as possible*
*lights the candle before putting out the match* So…there you go. *shifts uncomfortably*
*raises an eyebrow, watching Mark* Thanks… *turns*
*stares, wondering if she actually plans to leave*
*glances back over her shoulder, raising an eyebrow* What are you staring at?
*starts; wide-eyed* Nothing. I mean…nothing.
*smirks, turning back around and walking towards the door* Whatever. *lightly blows out the candle* Shit. *turns back around, waving the candle* It’s out again.
*wrinkles his forehead in confusion but lights another match anyways* Alright.. *walks to her shielding the flame with his hand and lights the candle*
*raises an eyebrow* What’s the face?
*has a mental debate with himself* Just…. *mumbling* Didn’t realize there was wind in our apartment.
*smirks* Uh-huh. Well, I did leave the door open. *suddenly hisses, looking down at her hand* Ow!
*nods hesitantly* Right. *winces in sympathy and moves to look at her hand* The wax… *frowns*
*shakes her hand slightly, tipping the candle to pour out some of the melted wax* It’s dripping.
*takes her hand gently and guides her further into the apartment where there’s a little more light to check the burn; distractedly* Yeah..
